This is a blog I wrote from May 2007 - May 2008 while I was a 21-22 year old chemical engineering student from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada on a year long internship in Austria. It was a way to keep my friends and family updated, while recording details and organizing photos for myself.

By 'town' I do mean on the other side of the pond...
Yeah, I'm in Vienna until next May, not counting Christmas vacation. I actually plan to go to Oktoberfest on the last weekend, October 5-7. Why?

No reason, Just talking about Oktoberfest with our resident foreigner.
We had a heated discussion on if the chicken at Oktoberfest is better then the ribs at Ribfest.
Which she assured me the chicken is way better. I'm not buying it though.
